About MLM
Multi-Level Marketing, or Network Marketing, is a marketing strategy used by Direct Selling companies to expand their sales force and sales volume. "Multi-level" refers to the Compensation Plan. Company representatives earn commissions not only on product sales they make directly, but also on multiple levels of representatives that they helped introduce to the company in a social network like fashion. The number of earning levels and the type and structure of network vary from company to company.
Companies
The following companies are known to offer a multi-level compensation plan. A listing on this site is not an endorsement of a company or it's legality. Unfortunately many illegal schemes promote themselves as Multi-Level or Network Marketing companies in an effort to convince people of their legitimacy. While not the sole distinguishing factor, one simple difference is that in legitimate companies, profit and income is earned primarily through the sale of legitimate products to legitimate end-users. In fraudulent companies and pyramid schemes, profit may be earned through recruiting or head-hunting fees.
